Information Integrity

Through fact-checking, countering Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI) and Media Literacy Campaigns, we ensure the access of local communities to accurate information required for them to influence key governance processes for outcomes, which impact their social conditions.

Under this core area of programming, we train local fact-checkers, and coordinate defender communities to build their resilience against disinformation and the more sinister variant of FIMI.

Our Approach

Grassroots Democracy

Our role as an organization is not to take over the participatory opportunities of communities. Our focus is to support communities with the knowledge and tools, which will enable their robust involvement in democratic governance processes.

Research And Knowledge Production

This Center conduct research to gather data, analyze trends, and identify gaps in existing policies and programs affecting people at the grassroots.

Capacity Building

Through robust civic orientation, we build the capacity of citizens and communities to engage key grassroots democratic and governance processes. Through innovative approaches, we galvanize citizens to ensure governance effectively delivers social goods and services. For us, democracy is not in the ritual of periodic elections. Grassroots democracy is about active participation of the people in all spheres of decision making.
