In line with national and international instruments promoting access to quality and affordable healthcare, Grassroots Centre for Rights & Civic Orientation utilises the whole of society approach for improved health outcomes through research, advocacy and the sensitisation of communities on their rights, roles and responsibilities in ensuring quality health outcomes.
In this line of programming, the nexus between knowledge, citizens action and accountability in the use of public resources is critical.
This Centre ensures citizens are energised and empowered with the right information to address issues such as maternal and child healthcare, the utilisation of Basic Health Provision Fund, and improvement, and the availability of required equipment and consumables in Primary Healthcare Centres across Nigeria.
