Anti-Corruption

The negative effects of corruption on governance outcomes at the grassroots level is monumental. Instead of simply agonizing about the effects of corruption without corresponding action to fight it, this Center deploys a series of approaches, including the social norms approach to change behaviors through regular sensitization and preventive action.

By conducting research on trends and attitudes determining corruption, this Center is able to galvanize citizens to pinpoint the key drivers, while ensuring state and non-state actors take practical steps to defeat corruption it in all ramifications.

Our Approach

Grassroots Democracy

Our role as an organization is not to take over the participatory opportunities of communities. Our focus is to support communities with the knowledge and tools, which will enable their robust involvement in democratic governance processes.

Research And Knowledge Production

This Center conduct research to gather data, analyze trends, and identify gaps in existing policies and programs affecting people at the grassroots.

Capacity Building

Through robust civic orientation, we build the capacity of citizens and communities to engage key grassroots democratic and governance processes. Through innovative approaches, we galvanize citizens to ensure governance effectively delivers social goods and services. For us, democracy is not in the ritual of periodic elections. Grassroots democracy is about active participation of the people in all spheres of decision making.
